AUSTRIAN GP 2026 / RUSSELL DELIVERS THE PERFECT WEEKEND

GP Austria 2026: Russell Unstoppable, Ferrari Hits Rock Bottom, the Championship Heats Up
Pole, win, 2nd in the standings. Russell did everything right under 50-degree heat. Ferrari pays the price for a totally botched 3-stop strategy.
George Russell delivered his best weekend of the year, straight up. Pole on Saturday, win on Sunday. The guy managed his tires like a boss under killing heat (over 50°C ground temperature). Meanwhile, it was total chaos at Ferrari. A 3-stop strategy completely killed the race for Hamilton and Leclerc. To follow the rest of the season with style, check out our Summer 2026 Collection.

Russell the Boss, Verstappen Surprises
Russell controlled the whole thing from A to Z. Started from pole and never let up. But the real surprise was Verstappen. The kid started P5 after his crash in qualifying and ends up P2, just 1.6 seconds behind Russell. He ate everyone up, even Hamilton on lap 11. By the way, the Red Bull Ring just suits him, it's his home turf.
Ferrari Totally Off
Honestly, Ferrari completely blew it this time. Hamilton (5th) and Leclerc (8th) could have been in the mix, but the team trapped them with three stops. Incomprehensible at this level. As BBC Sport reports, the Scuderia's management is raising questions again this season. Silverstone is in 7 days, they really need to wake up.
